1. I do not live in Singapore. Can I still attend Qi 2011 as a participant?
Absolutely! Your physical location will not stop you from participating at Qi 2011. You can still buy tickets, invite friends, and attend the event. Qi 2011 will also be broadcast on a live webstream, so you can also participate in real time from wherever you are.
If you are unable to attend Qi 2011, you can still pre-order our Qi Pack, which includes the annual Qi handbook and a bonus DVD of all the Qi 2011 talks, so you won’t miss a thing. The price of a Qi Pack is SGD 50 inclusive of mailing fees, and delivered to you no later than a month after Qi 2011. Great for educational resources, corporate gifts, or simply for you to share with those who are equally passionate.
2. Do I get a discount if I purchase tickets in bulk?
Yes! If you buy 3 or more tickets in bulk, you will receive a discount of SGD 100 off each ticket. A standard ticket costs SGD 650 each.

5. I am interested in Qi’s online communities. How can I get involved?
You can volunteer to become a Qi Community Contributor (QCC) by helping keep our online discussions lively with posts and introductions of new members to the communities. This is a time-friendly role for those looking for low-level commitments.
Alternatively, your organization can become a Qi Community Partner (CP). We are looking for 10 CPs for each of our ten online communities to stimulate discussion, be in contact with other partners in similar fields, and create cross-marketing opportunities for your organization and Qi.
6. I am a speaker who needs a visa to enter Singapore. Will Qi facilitate this?
No, Qi will not facilitate this, but applying for a visa to enter Singapore is a simple quick process on the ICA website.
7. Who can I contact about my dietary requirements?
While purchasing your ticket online, you will be able to indicate what your dietary requirements are.
8. How can I get in touch with another speaker before the event?
If you are a fellow speaker, you can use the ‘Request for Help’ email group which is created specifically for speakers at each annual Qi conference. If you are a participant, you can contact Radhika at with a request.
9. Can I bring my children to Qi 2011?
While Qi 2011 may not be suitable for very young children, feel free to make it a family event by purchasing tickets for your older children.
